— Una matita de hinojo (a small tuft of fennel; mataf — shrub; bush), Alteza (/your/ Highness; alto — high).

— Cuidémosla (let us look after it; cuidar — to care for), a ver lo que crece (to see what grows; crecer) — dijo la princesa (said the princess).
